About this instrument
Born from a collaboration between Mastodon's Bill Kelliher and Dave Friedman, the Butterslax is a 100-watt, three-channel beast powered by 4x EL-34s. It delivers super high-gain, ultra-tight tone with deep, rich low-end that will make your pants rattle — yet retains detailed midrange and singing highs that capture every drop of each refined note. Hand-wired, built for the stage, and designed to cover the full complexity of Kelliher's metal-rooted, rock-infused playing.
