Hi-Proof Guitars is a boutique dealership based in Katy, TX — built around a simple conviction: the right guitar or amplifier changes everything.
How Hi-Proof came to be
Hi-Proof Guitars grew out of a lifelong obsession with top-tier guitars and amplifiers. After years of chasing the right instruments through every corner of the market — vintage shops, private collections, trade shows — we decided to build the kind of dealership and showroom we always wished existed.
We carry a deliberately small, hand-selected inventory. Every instrument we list is one we've personally evaluated, played, and would be proud to own. We don't move volume — we move the right pieces to the right players.
Our focus is on boutique builders and high-end production instruments that hold their value and reward serious players: Guitars from Friedman, James Tyler, Patrick James Eggle, Xotic, K-Line, and others who build at the highest level. Amps from Diezel, Soldano, 3rd Power, Friedman and some from our secret stash.

Honest condition grading
We describe every instrument exactly as it is. No surprises when it arrives. If something isn't perfect, we say so.
