The Showroom Is Almost Here — And the Inventory Is Coming In Daily

We've been working toward this for a long time. The Hi-Proof Guitars showroom is in its final stretch — and the inventory is already moving in. Every week brings new arrivals from the makers we've built this shop around, and the floor is starting to look exactly the way we always imagined it.

We wanted to share a look at what's coming in and what you can expect when the doors open.

James Tyler Guitars

James Tyler has been building guitars in Los Angeles for over four decades. His instruments are the definition of player-focused design — every detail refined over years of direct feedback from working musicians. Tyler guitars are known for their exceptional neck profiles, their clarity at high gain, and a build quality that holds up under real-world use. We're thrilled to be carrying them.

Xotic Guitars

Xotic needs little introduction for anyone who follows the boutique guitar world. Their XTC series has become a benchmark for T-style and S-style instruments built to a standard that rivals the best vintage examples. New Xotic pieces are arriving regularly, and we're expecting some exceptional tops in the next few weeks.

3rd Power Amps

3rd Power builds amplifiers in Nashville with a focus on versatility and touch sensitivity. Their designs pull from British and American amp traditions without being slavish copies of either. If you've never played through a 3rd Power amp, the showroom will be your chance. These are instruments that reward players who care about dynamics.

Friedman Amplification

Friedman has been a cornerstone of the Hi-Proof inventory since day one, and the showroom will carry a full selection of Friedman amplifiers alongside the guitars. From the Jose 20 to larger format heads, the Friedman lineup covers everything from studio-friendly wattage to stage-ready power — all with that unmistakable Friedman voice.

Soldano

Mike Soldano's amplifiers helped define the sound of high-gain guitar in the 1980s and have never gone out of style. The SLO-100 remains one of the most influential amp designs ever built. We're bringing in Soldano inventory for the showroom, and we expect it to move quickly — these amps have a following for good reason.

Diezel Amplification

Diezel builds amplifiers in Germany to a standard that is genuinely in a class of its own. The VH4 is one of the most copied amp circuits in history — because it does things with gain, clarity, and headroom that very few designs can match. Having Diezel on the floor is something we've wanted from the beginning, and it's happening.

What to Expect When We Open

The showroom will be a proper destination for serious players. Every instrument on the floor will be set up and ready to play. You'll be able to spend real time with the gear — not a rushed sales experience, but an honest opportunity to find what works for you.

We'll be announcing the opening date soon. In the meantime, the online shop is fully stocked and shipping daily. If you have questions about any of the incoming inventory, reach out — we're happy to talk gear.
